As reported earlier, actor Sridevi Kapoor, who has been hailed as the first female superstar of India had passed away on Saturday (24.02.2018) night at 11.30PM.
Up until now, the reason for Sridevi’s death was said to be the actor had suffered a cardiac arrest and subsequently passed away in a bathtub that was filled with water.
That said, the Ministry of Health - UAE is now stating Sridevi had passed away due to accidental drowning.
Meanwhile, the Gulf Media is reporting traces of alcohol were found in Sridevi's body as per latest forensic reports.
It is said Sridevi had apparently lost her balance and had then fallen into the bathtub and drowned.
As of now, Sridevi’s body has been sent for embalming after which her mortal remains shall be sent on a chartered flight to Mumbai where her last rites will be performed.
