Fazil's film in progress
After a long gap from films, director Fazil, who has churned out the memorable filmsEnte Mamattikkuttiyammakku, Manjil Virinja Pookkal, Aniyathi Pravu, Manichithrathaazhu, Nokkethadooraththu Kannum Nattu, etc., is making a comeback with Moses D. Samuel, starring Dileep in the lead. The film has already started rollingin the third week of September and is now progressing in and around Vaikkom.
This is the first time Dileep is the leading man in a Fazil movie. Another highlight of the film is that Fazil, who has introduced many new faces to Malayalam cinema, is introducing yet another new face: heroine Ashwathy.
Ashwathy, TV anchor and a final yearstudent at St. Theresa's College, Ernakulam, dons the role of Nandana, a bold yet sweet and lovable girl in this film which revolves around two thieves, Moss D. Samuel (Dileep) and Kunninmel Sankaran (Harisree Asokan). This bubbly young actress isalso Fazil's choice for his Tamil flick, which has yet to begin.
Veteran music director Ouseppachan will set music for lyrics written by Kaithapram. Camera is handled by Anandakuttan. Other cast members include Baby Niveditha, Janardhanan, Sudheesh, Anoop Chandran, Krishna Kumar and Sudheer. Produced by Johnny Sagarika, Moss D. Samuel is expected to grace theatres on January 26, 2009.
