The upcoming college-based coming-of-age romantic comedy drama Don written and directed by debutant director Cibi Chakaravarthi, which will release on 13 May 2022, has been the topic of conversation for quite a while now. This is particularly its glorious star cast consisting of Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, Soori, Manobala, and acclaimed director Gautham Vasudev Menon (in a cameo appearance) and also for its fun representation of college life which we have not seen on the Tamil movie screens for a long time.
The film has already dropped a trailer, teasers, promos, posters, and songs that were well received by the general audience by fans of the aforementioned actors. The songs from the very beginning were a great hit after the release of 'Jalabulajangu', after which came 'Bae' and the recently released 'Private Party'. Of these three, it was 'Jalabulajangu' which created the most buzz among the people for its catchy lyrics and upbeat music. Ever since the release of its lyrical song video which has got over 70 million views on YouTube, people have been waiting for its video song.
Well, the wait is over. With the film's release literally right around the corner, the team has dropped a minute-long sneak peek of the song's video to tease the audience as a strategic reminder that the film is releasing tomorrow. The song features Sivakarthikeyan absolutely killing it with his swagger dance moves and captivating vibe. The video promo which dropped a little over an hour ago has already generated over 1.85 lakh views which is a tremendous feat.
Don is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions and Sivakarthikeyan who co-produced the film under his Sivakarthikeyan Productions banner. The film features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography, and editing by K. M. Bhaskaran and Nagooran respectively.
