Director Thiru made his name in the Tamil film industry after directing three back to back movies with one of Kollywood's leading actor Vishal. Thiru and Vishal worked in movies like Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai, Samar and Naan Sigappu Manithan. For his fourth outing, Thiru joined hands with the father-son combo Karthik and Gautham Karthick for the movie Mr Chandramouli in 2018. And now, we have an exciting update about the director's next biggie.
Thiru is teaming up with one of Tollywood's top actors Gopichand which will mark the director's Tollywood debut. Touted to be an action spy thriller, the movie has the charming actress Mehreen Pirzada as the leading lady as Bollywood actress Zarine Khan will be seen in a vital role. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing music for this film while Vetri is handling the cinematography. Produced by Kishore Garikipati, Ajay Sunkara & Abhishek Agarwal, the movie is made under AK Entertainments banner.
On Sunday, the makers made a massive announcement and revealed the titled of the movie. Gopichand's 26th film has been officialy titled Chanakya. The team also release the title logo on the same day. The team of Chanakya has wrapped up fifty per cent of the shooting and the current schedule is going on in Hyderabad.
