Directed by Gautham, Richie is getting released in Tamil Nadu under much expectations as it happens to be the first direct Tamil film for Nivin Pauly and also has Natarajan playing a strong role.

“We opted Nivin to dub his own voice because the Thoothokudi slang is quite different compared to other Tamils and it does have a touch of Malayalam to it like Kanyakumari people. We decided to go with it as it provided the authenticity,” confirmed director Gautham. Richie produced by Trident Arts gets released on Dec 8th.
