Ram Gopal Varma the man behind many successful flicks has recently directed the controversial Lakshmi’s NTR which depicts the life of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh NTR’s life on the perspective of Lakshmi Parvathy, the second wife of NTR. The movie was helmed by RGV along with Agastya Manju.
Ram Gopal Varma has directed Suriya in the movie Rakta Charitra and from then known to the Tamil audience. He has also directed Amitabh Bachchan on multiple projects including the Sarkar series. After the release of Lakshmi’s NTR, he also announced that he would make a biopic on Sasikala, a close aide of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalitha.
As the director is celebrating his 57th birthday, Ram has officially announced about his next movie titled Cobra. He will be helming this project with Agastya Manju of Lakshmi’s NTR fame. This movie will mark the acting debut of Ram Gopal Varma co-starring with debutant KG.
It is bankrolled by DPR under the banner of Ram Gopal Varma’s RGV Gunshot Films Production. Cobra is a bilingual movie made in Hindi and Telugu, with the story being the biopic of the most dangerous criminal. RGV will be playing the intelligent officer Cobra.
