The director recently visited the photo exhibit that has been arranged at Raja Annamalai Mandram in Chennai in view of the 70th Birthday of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. After touring the venue, AR Murugadoss met the press and media representatives and spoke about the CM. He said ”the exhibit shows that though Stalin was a son of the political leader Kalaignar M Karunanidhi, he faced many obstacles and grew step by step. Visitors of the exhibit will be excited, shocked and startled to know the things that Stalin went through in life."
When asked about the Tamilnadu-Tamilzhagam controversy, the leading director said Tamilzhagam was changed into Tamil Nadu after a huge struggle by various leaders and MK Stalin will not let any Change happen to the name Tamil Nadu as can be seen in the recent instances in the secretariat. The press also asked if MK Stalin's life could be turned into a Biopic to which the talented director AR Murugadoss said ”I could see in the photo exhibit that from the young age of 14, MK Stalin has become an important member of the Youth Wing of the party. After that, though he was the son of the political leader, he took up a protest and saw success in it and has become the CM of Tamil Nadu, Surely, these historical events can be turned into a bio-pic on a pan-India level. His life has such inspiring, heartbreaking and massive moments, including the struggles he faced during the MISA period".
