Two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 18 and blockbuster production house Sun Pictures is leaving no stone unturned in bringing out the word about the film directed by Mithran R. Jawahar. One of the most-awaited ventures in recent times, the upcoming film marks the reunion of Dhanush with chart-buster composer Anirudh Ravichander when they last worked together in Thangamagan (2015). In that light, for a while now, social media has been abuzz with talk about the Thiruchitrambalam first single, and Sun Pictures has now finally brought an end to their long wait.
On Wednesday, Sun Pictures shared a special video featuring Anirudh, choreographer Sathish Krishnan, and actor Ponnambalam, with the trio eventually revealing the title of the Thiruchitrambalam first single to be 'Thaai Kelavi'. Sung by Dhanush, the leading Tamil actor has also penned the lyrics for the song, which has choreography by Sathish Krishnan and is a peppy and fast number that will leave fans wanting to hit the dance floor. It has also been announced that this big treat, the Thaai Kelavi song, from the 'DnA' combo after a gap of nearly seven years will be releasing on June 24. Thiruchitrambalam is carrying tremendous excitement as it will also feature Dhanush alongside three heroines - Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film's supporting cast also includes veteran filmmaker-actor Bharathiraja as Senior Thiruchitrambalam, while National Award-winning actor Prakash Raj will be appearing as a cop. Thiruchitrambalam has also created a lot of curiosity among fans as it has Dhanush and director Mithran Jawahar joining hands once again after they previously collaborated in films like Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran.
