This latest clarification on the fake casting call requirement for Dhanush's next has come in quick time. Considering Dhanush is headlining several big projects and also directing the upcoming coming-of-age film Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, this swift action to stop the false rumor before it causes any further confusion has garnered appreciation from the actor's fans.
Dhanush is at present filming the tentatively titled DNS otherwise being called D51 under National Award-winning Telugu filmmaker Sekhar Kammula's direction, which also features Akkineni Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, while Devi Sri Prasad is composing the songs and the background score. The Captain Miller star has completed the yet-to-be-titled D50, which is his second directorial, while also kickstarting Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam towards the end of 2023; his third outing as a filmmaker. Dhanush will also be reuniting with filmmakers Mari Selvaraj and Arun Matheswaran for the second time on separate projects after their previous collaborations Karnan (2021) and Captain Miller (2024), respectively. The Vaathi star will also be seen in Hindi for the third time with blockbuster Bollywood director Aanand L. Rai after their previous outings Raanjhanaa (2013) and Atrangi Re (2021). Then, there is also the long-awaited Aayirathil Oruvan 2 announced back in 2021, which will mark Dhanush's fourth-time teaming up with his elder brother-filmmaker Selvaraghavan.
