A multifaceted star, National Award-winning actor Dhanush is at present working in two highly exciting projects - Asuran with director Vetrimaaran and an untitled film being directed by Kodi fame RS Durai Senthilkumar. A Sathya Jyothi Films production venture, the project with Durai Senthilkumar includes Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada playing the female leads with popular Telugu actor, Naveen Chandra, as the antagonist and music by the Vivek-Mervin duo. Production on the film is still ongoing and sources close to us have now revealed that the first look of the film as well as its title will most likely be unveiled on July 28 on the occasion of Dhanush’s birthday. As of now, an official announcement is expected to be made sometime in the days ahead.
The film has plenty of excitement surrounding it as it will see Dhanush in dual roles for the third time in his career after Kodi, and the upcoming Asuran, under Vetrimaaran’s direction. Although the actor will be playing a double role once again, it is said the upcoming Durai Senthilkumar film will for the most part not include a political overtone as the 2016 smash hit did.
