Dhanush who recently tasted success with Thiruchitrambalam is all set and geared up for the release of his next film, Naane Varuvean which is currently in the final stages of post production. The first single song from the film, 'Veera Soora' which released recently has opened to an overwhelmingly positive response from the film buffs and music lovers and the rest of the songs are expected to be out very soon. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Selvaraghavan has directed this intense drama and the film brings back the iconic duo of Selvaraghavan and Dhanush who have already delivered classic hits like Kaadhal Konden, Pudhupettai, Mayakkam Enna, etc.

Nikilesh Surya, the Managing Director of Rohini Silver Screens, one of the most popular and iconic theatres in Chennai, took to his official Twitter page to make some exciting revelations.

Nikilesh confirmed that the makers of Naane Varuvean are planning to release the film on September 29 and this is the first hand official confirmation that we have got about the film's release plans. Nikilesh also added that the FDFS shows for the Selvaraghavan directorial is likely to begin at 8 AM. He also heaped praise on the trailer of the film which was exclusively shown to him. Naane Varuvean releasing on September 29 is going to be an interesting development as the film will be clashing with the highly anticipated Mani Ratnam directorial, Ponniyin Selvan which releases the next day, September 30.
