Captain Miller is the anticipated next project of actor Dhanush after the hit film Vaathi. The film is helmed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame. Fans and movie buffs look forward to every update about the movie and the production banner of the film, Sathya Jyothi Films, have revealed the long awaited first look. The poster shows the actor Dhanush standing amidst a battle ground with a huge number of soldiers fallen around him, he looks calm with his eye closed and eyes slightly tilted up as if paying tributes to the fallen soldiers, while holding a huge gun. There is also a line up of army truck in the background of the poster.

The makers of Captain Miller had earlier announced that the first look of the film will be released in June and just as mentioned they have released it on the last day of June. In an earlier update, the makers also stated that a teaser will be unveiled in July and so it is expected to drop on Dhanush’s birthday. According to reports, the film is expected to be a festival release. The film directed by Arun Matheswaran is said to be a massive action entertainer set in 1930.
Captain Miller has an exciting cast including Doctor and Don fame Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead with Kannada superstar Sr. Shiva Rajkumar, Maanagaram fame Sundeep Kishan, Antony of Merku Thoddarchi Malai fame, Sillu Karupatti fame Nivedhithaa Sathish and Thunivu villain John Kokken in pivotal roles. It also has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and it marks the fifth collaboration between actor Dhanush and the national award-winning composer. The director and Captain Miller Team revealed that actor Shiva Rajkumar has wrapped up his parts in the film. The intriguing first look at the film revealed more updates about the film that can be looked forward to next month.
