The latest buzz is that the producers paid a whopping 8 Lakhs for the same! If this is true, then Dhanush has become the highest paid singer in the South!

A spokesperson of PVP Cinemas, the producers of Irandaam Ulagam, confirmed that Dhanush was indeed paid a large amount, without revealing the figure.
