Popular Tamil-Telugu music composer and playback singer Devi Sri Prasad, who has won six major titles as�best music director for Varsham (2004), Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), Bommarillu (2006) and Jalsa (2008) in a career spanning less than 10 years, is all set to make his debut as a hero in an untitled film to be directed by Tulasiram of Mantra fame.
Produced by M.S. Raju under the banner of Sumanth Arts, the film, touted to be a feel-good love story with a strong need for great music, was�launched on September 29.
Notably, Devi Sri Prasad is no stranger to the camera, as a song was shot on him for Jalsa (Telugu) but was not included in the final version. According to sources, the young music director has more offers to appear as hero than to compose music. However, he says that his first job would be that of a composer!
