Demonte Colony, starring Arulnithi, Ramesh Thilak, and Sanath in important roles, was an intriguing honour film that was released in 2015. The makers had announced that a sequel is in works, as the first part would have ended with a lead. Now, the makers of Demonte Colony 2, with the caption Vengence of the unholy, have revealed the first look at the film. The motion poster opens with eerie music and shows a circle of clouds as the visual zooms out. A deserted place filled with a tombstone is then shown in the Motion poster. It then shows an angel statue crying bloody tears, and finally reveals the first look of Arulnithi from the film as a possessed person with white eyes. The filmmaker Ajay Gnanamuthu shared it with the caption, "Welcome to the darkness! Presenting the first look of Demonte Colony 2, a pulse-pounding horror thriller on the way to cinemas soon."

Last month, the makers revealed an intriguing making video of Demonte Colony 2 and now, they have revealed the first look. These updates show the film will surely be a notch higher then it's predecessor. It has Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles and is directed by Ajay R. Gnanamuthu, who made many hit films like Imaikka Nodigal with Nayanthara and Atharvaa Murali in the lead roles, and his latest film was Cobra with ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram.
The makers of the film Demonte Colony 2 had revealed that the film would release in September, but the motion poster does not reveal anything about the release date of the film. The film has a huge ensemble cast that includes Arulnithi, Priya Bhavanishankar, Antti Jaaskelainen, Tsering Dorjee, Arunpandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Sarjano Khalid, Archana Ravichandran, and other prominent roles.
