In an interview with Galatta, director Sathish Chandrasekaran said that the second franchise of Darling is not a sequel. Rather it uses some hit elements that the first part had. Touted to be a horror-comedy, Darling 2 releases this weekend, on April 1st. The film stars Kalaiarasan, Rameez, Kaali Venkat, Arjunan, Hari and Maya.
