After the massive success of Petta, Superstar Rajinikanth teamed up with one of Kollywood 's ace director AR Murugadoss for an exciting entertainer. The cop action thriller film titled Darbar is produced by Subaskaran under the big banner of Lyca Productions. The star cast of Darbar includes Lady Superstar Nayanthara, Sunil Shetty, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, Sriman, Prateik Babbar and others in important roles. Cinematography and editing are handled by Santhosh Sivan and Sreekar Prasad respectively.

Darbar's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the much-awaited audio launch happened in Chennai on Saturday (December 7th) in a grand manner. The audio launch was the talk of the town as all the cast members and some important names from the industry decorated the event.  Coming the album of Darbar, there are six tracks with different mixes of flavours from the hand of Anirudh.
