Venkat Prabhu's Custody teaser announcement video - Naga Chaitanya breaks out of underwater prison! WATCH HERE!

Blockbuster filmmaker Venkat Prabhu's next big film is the Telugu-Tamil bilingual titled Custody starring Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. The upcoming film billed to be a mass action entertainer produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner is being presented by Pavan Kumar and is gearing up for a grand summer release on May 12. With Naga Chaitanya already wrapping up his portions, the makers have now released a special glimpse, while announcing that the much-awaited Custody teaser will be out on March 16 at 4:51 p.m. 

The Custody teaser tease doesn't offer much, but does keep us hooked from start to finish. The visuals show water flowing along the plains along with the announcement that it's going to be "one helluva ride" after which we are taken underwater where we see Naga Chaitanya in his cop attire locked inside a small jail where the viewers are informed that "the wait is over". Chay is then seen breaking out of the prison-like structure as he's smiling before swimming away to the top of the surface, with the announcement of the Custody teaser release date then being revealed. 

Custody will see Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty sharing screen space with several notable Tamil and Telugu cinema names like Arvind Swami, Sarathkumar, Priyamani,  Sampath Raj, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Premi Vishwanath, among others in crucial roles. The film also includes music by 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja, who are collaborating once again for after Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan. Custody is Venkat Prabhu's Telugu cinema debut and fans are looking to see him hit the bullseye once again along the lines of his Maanaadu with Silambarasan TR in 2021 after the response to his adult black comedy Manmadha Leelai in 2022 turned out to be lukewarm.
