Coronavirus awareness video from RRR movie's Ram Charan and Jr. NTR

One of the biggest films in development, the upcoming Telugu period war action drama, RRR, being made at an estimated budget of Rs. 350-400 crores is director SS Rajamouli’s next after his blockbuster Baahubali franchise. Being made under the DVV Entertainment banner, RRR is a fictitious story based on legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem and will see Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles with a January 8, 2021 worldwide release date. 

Production on RRR has been progressing at a steady pace ever since the film went on floors early last year with anticipations sky high. Now, actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR representing the RRR team have appeared in an awareness video on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO) in which they are seen informing fans and followers about the safety measures to be employed to keep away from the coronavirus while also asserting not to spread information without proper verification.

The joint statement from Jr. NTR and Ram Charan is as follows: "Greetings to everyone! If we follow these 6 steps recommended by the WHO, you can easily keep yourself protected from the COVID-19 crisis. Wash your hands thoroughly. Rub them till elbow. Ensure you clean the area under your nail ridges as well. Whenever you come back indoors, before eating... at least 7-8 times a day. Till the end of coronavirus, avoid shaking hands and hugging while socializing. Avoid rubbing your eyes or touching your nose. Don't let your fingers into your mouth unnecessarily. Wear a mask only if you have symptoms like dry cough, fever and cold. Wearing them without any of these might cause the risk of catching COVID-19. Always cover your mouth before sneezing and/or coughing. Don't visit crowded places. Drink a lot of water. Instead of gulping lots of water in one go, sip smaller amounts multiple times. Drinking hot water would be even better. Don't believe in everything sent to you on WhatsApp. Don't forward without verifying the authenticity because it will create a situation of panic. And, that's more dangerous than the virus itself. You can check www.who.int and follow the guidelines. The government has constantly been giving updates and suggestions on COVID-19. Follow them and safeguard ourselves. Stay hygienic. Stay safe,". Check out the video below:

As for RRR, the film's story is set in the 1920s during the pre-Independence era and includes a diverse cast featuring Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, Tamil actor Samuthirakani, Hollywood actors Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody as the lead antagonists, Scott and Lady Scott, while the female lead is being portrayed by actress Olivia Morris as Jennifer. RRR will be released in as many as 10 languages including Tamil and Hindi and, will feature music by M. M. Keeravani.
