One of the most interesting films that has come out this year is the Jayam Ravi starrer, Comali, which hit screens last week with the response being largely positive from fans. Produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh’s Vels Films International Films banner under and Pradeep Ranganathan making his directorial debut, the comedy entertainer has struck a chord with audiences of all ages, especially with its 90s references. Released in theatres on August 15, one of the film’s major highlights was the music by Hiphop Tamizha, which has turned out to be a huge hit. Among the songs in the Comali album, the song ‘Paisa Note’ penned by Hiphop Tamizha, Pradeep Ranganathan, Mobin and Gana Kavi turned out to be the pick of the album with the makers now releasing the video song featured on Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal.
Apart from Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal as the lead pair in Comali, Kannada actress Samyuktha Hegde plays an important role along with Yogi Babu and Shah Ra for the comedic relief, popular Kannada and Bollywood actress Kavita Radheshyam in a vital role and KS Ravikumar as the antagonist.
