Jayam Ravi’s upcoming film, Comali, has left fans intrigued after 9 posters as part of the promotions showing the versatile star were released a couple of months back. Directed by newcomer Pradeep Ranganathan under Vels Films International banner, the film featuring music by Hiphop Tamizha is gearing up for its theatrical release on August 15 as an Independence Day treat. So far, three single tracks namely ‘Paisa Note’, ‘Yaaru Comali’ and ‘Oliyum Oliyum’ have turned out to become chartbuster hits and the fourth song, ‘Hi Sonna Pothum’, has now been released.

‘Hi Sonna Pothum’ has been picturized on Jayam Ravi and actress Samyuktha Hegde with the song set in the 1990s where both the stars are seen as school-going students. Comali has generated quite a lot of buzz among fans as a sequence depicting the events of the 2015 flood-hit Chennai was shot sometime back with the shooting spot pictures going on to trend a few days back on social media. The comedy drama will see Kajal Aggarwal as the main female lead alongside popular Kannada and Bollywood actress Kavita Radheshyam and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.
