Jayam Ravi’s latest release, Comali, is the 24th film in the actor’s nearly two decade long career and is turning out to be yet another successful outing at the box office. Director Pradeep Ranganthan has made his filmmaking debut with the comedy entertainer, which has been produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh’s Vels Films International banner. Released a few days back as an Independence Day treat, the response for Comali has been largely positive from fans, who have given a double thumbs up to the numerous 1990s references in the film while also conveying a relevant message in an effective manner. With the film now running successfully in theatres, the makers are still carrying forward with promotions and have now released an emotional sneak peek video centered around Jayam Ravi and Yogi Babu.

Comali has several highlights apart from Jayam Ravi and the various 90s kids references among which include actresses Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde’s performances, Yogi Babu and Shah Ra’s comedy, director KS Ravikumar’s villain act and chartbuster music from Hiphop Tamizha. Songs like, ‘Yaaru Comali’ and ‘Hi Sonna Pothum’ have gone on to become huge hits among fans with the ‘Paisa Note’ track featuring as a must listen on the playlists of youngsters everywhere.
