Chennai City's highly anticipated annual fashion event is all set to begin in the city. This upcoming 7th edition of Chennai International Fashion Week’, presented by Volvo Cars in collaboration with Storm Fashion Company starts from September 18th.. The three day event will be hosted at Vivanta by Taj.

Nazia Syed who has been showcasing her designs at the prestigious fashion event since 2009 will be opening this grand show. Internationally knownSanjana Jon will be the finale designer.

The event showcases unique designs and glam factor by bringing together the textile arts and trends from across the country, which includes designs of leading Indian designers such as of Manoviraj Khosla, Rocky S, Sanjana Jon, Julie Vergese, Hari Anand, Chaitanya Rao, Sangeetha and Nazia Syed. The main attraction of this three day fashion extravaganza is gorgeous star Taapsee, showstopper for designer Manoviraj Khosla. Well know socialite and journalist Apsara Reddy is the showstopper for Jules Idi Amin. To add more glamour to the finale, Touch Makeover Studio will showcase their latest hair and makeup looks. Looks like the event is going to wow the fashionistas in Chennai!
