CIFW Day 5: Fashion glitters
The Chennai International Fashion Week opened in style on July 5. Fashion's back in all its fury in the capital of Tamil Nadu with top designers laying down the law about what's in and what's not this season.
A beautiful blend of veterans and young talents, probably the first global fashion event in Chennai, that is the Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week - Season II at Hotel Le Royal Meridien.
On Day 5 (last day), the fashion treat gets bigger than ever. After all, we have some of the best names in the industry lined up for the day. The opening show is by Himalaya Nitya Singh. This will be followed by Mehaj Ismail, Masaba Gupta, Krishna Mehta and Neeta Lulla. Then comes the big-wing ace designer Satya Paul.
Several celebrities, fashion divas and glitterati from Chennai and across the country are expected to attend. With so much excitement from Day 1, the rest of the fashion week promises to be a fashion extravaganza.
