Chiyaan Vikram's Kadaram Kondaan, directed by Rajesh M Selva of Thoongavanam fame and produced by Raajkamal Films International is in the post-production stages. With a good buzz surrounding this stylish action entertainer, a section of media had reported that the film will hit the screens on April 19.

When we contacted director Rajesh to know the authenticity of this news, he completely denied it to be a false rumour. He said, "We haven't finalised the release date for the film. The post-production works are on full swing and we will get clarity on the release date in the next few days. We are currently shooting for a promotional video for the song crooned by Vikram sir. The shoot for that song is happening right now and we are busy with that."

The teaser of Kadaram Kondaan was released in January that received a good response from the audience. The teaser has clocked over 9.8 million views on YouTube. The songs and the background score of the film is composed by Ghibran.
