Megastar Chiranjeevi's Bholaa Shankar is one of the most expected films of this year and as already reported, the film is the official Telugu remake of the Ajith starrer Vedalam, directed by Siva. Chiranjeevi will be reprising Ajith's role, while Keerthy Suresh plays the younger sister, reprising Lakshmi Menon's character. Tamannaah Bhatia plays the female lead as Chiranjeevi's love interest in this action entertainer directed by Meher Ramesh. Earlier today (March 1), the makers unveiled the official first look of Bholaa Shankar, marking the special occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

The look has been revealed as a motion poster that captures the stardom of Chiranjeevi in the best possible way. The motion poster gives us an introduction of Chiranjeevi's character and he is full of energy and charm. He looks stylish and electrifying and his presence is sure to elevate the movie-watching experience for the fans. The pulsating background score adds more excitement to the video. Produced by Anil Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments, the film has music composed by Mani Sharma's son, Mahathi Swara Sagar, while the cinematography is handled by Dudley.

It is going to be quite interesting to see how Vedalam is adapted in Telugu to suit the tastes of the regional audience. Chiranjeevi's next release will be Acharya, the Koratala Siva directorial which has got high expectations among the audience. Slated to hit the screens on April 29, 2022, Acharya features Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead, alongside Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in supporting roles. Chiranjeevi is also shooting for Godfather, the Telugu remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam blockbuster, Lucifer. Godfather is directed by Mohan Raja and has Nayanthara playing the female lead.
