The channel was started by Ted Turner and went live way 30 years ago, back on 1 October 1992. The channel only aired animated TV shows aimed at children.

It is now brought under notice that after providing service for over 30 years and making our childhood a memorable one, the Cartoon Network channel will be shutting down.
