The upcoming Hindi fantasy film, Brahmastra is the first venture in the announced trilogy being helmed by Ayan Mukerji of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani fame, who spent six years of his life to come out with an original story. This trilogy has been planned to be made over a period of ten years and will be released in Tamil and Telugu along with the Hindi version.
This mythical fusion drama trilogy made on a massive scale features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy among others in starring roles with director Ayan clarifying it is a contemporary film with ancient elements and the title Brahmastra was chosen as it suits the story.
Karan Johar is producing this project under his banner Dharma Productions with Pritam composing the music. Brahmastra is scheduled to come out in theatres as a Christmas release with the team now releasing a behind the scenes video, which can be watched below:
