Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen is a well-known actress predominantly in Bollywood. She made her debut in 1996 and has been a part of multiple hit projects. The actress has also been a part of two Tamil films, Ratchagan and made a special appearance in Mudhalvan in the song Shakalaka Baby. The actress also played the lead in the hit Hotstar Series Aarya that ls been dubbed in multiple Indian languages. The first two seasons of the web series are available and its third season is in the works and she shared screen-space with Chandrachur Singh, Ankur Bhatia, Namit Das, Flora Saini and others.
The actress got candid and shared a personal health issue in her recent Instagram post. Susmita Sen shared a picture of her with her father and stated that she went through an angioplasty after suffering from a heart attack. She began the post with a quote from her dad “Keep your Heart happy & courageous and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona”, to the actress. She then explained “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back... Angioplasty done... stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ’I do have a big heart'" and added ”Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (well-wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news.. That all is well & I am ready for some life again!!”. she ended the post saying “I love you guys beyond”.
Many other popular personalities and fans praised her for their positive attitude and wished for the talented actress to 'get well soon' in the comments. The former Miss Universe is a single mother to two daughters, Alisah and Renee. Fans await the release of the third season of Aarya.
