A popular name among fans who follow Tamil cinema quite actively is the film reviewer Maaran, or as he is called by them as ‘Blue Shirt’ Maaran or ‘Blue Sattai’ Maaran. Having stirred plenty of controversy with his style of reviewing, there have been many who have often queried as well as challenge ‘Blue Shirt’ Maaran to make a film himself. Now, ‘Blue Shirt’ Maaran is well on his way to kick-start his directorial debut as we had informed a while back. It has now been revealed that Blue Shirt Maaran’s first film as a director will roll into production from later this week on September 14 with the project comprising of newcomers in the lead roles.
Blue Shirt Maaran’s directorial debut will include a few notable names among whom are veteran actor Radha Ravi, who delivered a power-packed performance in ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar last year, followed by Aadukalam Naren and Vazhakku Enn 18/9 Muthuraman in supporting roles. No title has been revealed yet for the project and we can expect more details on Blue Shirt Maaran’s directorial debut later this week.
