Blessy-Mohanlal team's Bhramaram
After their successful teamwork in State award winning Thanmathra (2005), Blessy-Mohanlal team's much-awaited�forthcoming venture has been titled Bhramaram. The film was first named Kanal and then Bheemam.
The shooting, which was earlier set to begin on February 10 at the locations of Kochi, Moonaar, Nelliyambathi, Coimbatore, Marayoor and Pollachi, has been postponed to February 12. Mohanlal will join the sets after completing Sagar alias Jackie - Reloaded by director Amal Neerad.
Produced by Raju Mallyath and Zulfikar under the banner of Yuvan Entertainments, Bhramaram has Mohanlal in the role of a lorry driver plying through the high ranges of Kerala. Popular Tamil-Telugu-Hindi actress Bhumika Chawla is the heroine. Lakshmi Gopalaswami has an important role alongside Murali, son of late National award winning actor Bharath Gopi. Also in the cast are Suresh Menon, Madan Babu, Murali Krishnan, Baby Nivedhitha, etc.
Songs by Anil Panachooran will be set to tunes by Mohan Sithara. After 20 years, noted cameraman Ajay Vincent, son of director Vincent, is making a comeback to Malayalam with this film, which is likely to be completed in one schedule. It is the fifth film by Blessy as an independent director after Kaazhcha (2004), Thanmathra (2005), Palunku (2006) and Calcutta News (2008). Brought to the theatres by Max Lab Entertainments, Bhramaram will be Mohanlal’s summer release.
