The countdown is on as we are less than a day away for one of the biggest films to be coming out in theatres in the form of ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Bigil hitting screens worldwide tomorrow (25.10.2019). An action sports drama, the film directed by Atlee and under the AGS Entertainment banner, Oscar winner, A. R. Rahman’s songs have gone on to become chartbusters and are reigning at the top of the lists as well as the playlists among the youths. With the excitement and the hype for Bigil at an all-time high, one of the major highlights in the film is the VFX and was quite extensively teased in the recently-released action-packed thunderous trailer, which had Vijay as well his co-stars display their footballing skills. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn’s company, NY Vfxwaala, has overseen the execution of the VFX on Bigil with one of the technicians who worked in the film now releasing a statement saying they have single-handedly worked on over 3100+ VFX shots, which is one of the highest for any Indian film till date. Apart from the VFX, songs and the vast amount of football sequences that are expected to be shown in the film, we know Vijay will be seen in dual roles as father (Rayappan) and son (Michael alias Bigil), which has left fans ecstatic especially after witnessing the superstar in action in the Bigil trailer released a few days back. With Atlee previously delivering hits with Vijay with Theri and Mersal, fans expect the duo to come out all guns blazing once again with their latest visual offering.
