Actor Kavin became a household name after his appearance in the third season of the hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss, which turned out to be a blockbuster edition in 2019. Several notable, including new names from the Tamil film and television industry were introduced to mainstream Tamil audiences via Bigg Boss season 3 and one among them was popular actor Kavin, who starred on popular Vijay TV shows like Kana Kaanum Kaalangal and Saravanan Meenatchi. Kavin was a major highlight on Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 as his relationship with fellow contestant Losliya Mariyanesan became highly debated. 

Losliya Mariyanesan, a Sri Lankan new reader, has since become a youth heart-throb, including landing films namely Friendship, which will see her share screen space opposite Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25 opposite her fellow Bigg Boss 3 contestant Tharshan Thiyagarajah and veteran director K. S. Ravikumar, who has been cast in an important role. Since Bigg Boss 3 came to an end, Losliya and Kavin have not been spotted together anywhere to date, leading fans to believe that they are not in a relationship. 

Kavin, who is all set to be seen in the upcoming Tamil film, Lift, opposite Bigil fame Amirtha Aiyer, also served as an Assistant Director on Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film, Doctor, being directed by Kolamaavu Kokila fame Nelson Dilipkumar. In the midst of this, Kavin posted a strong message on his Instagram page about his views on love and relationships. Kavin's statement about love is as follows: "You deserve honesty, you deserve transparency, you deserve someone who respects you enough to never lie to your heart. You deserve appreciation. You deserve loyalty. You deserve someone who would never abuse your trust. You deserve love. You deserve someone who would still be there for you even when everyone else has walked away. You deserve someone who is REAL. Never settle for less." Kavin's recent words have struck a chord with his fans big time, who have been appreciating the Bigg Boss superstar for his outspoken views targeted towards the new-age generation.
