Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan been campaigning across Tamil Nadu ever since he flagged off his Makkal Needhi Maiam political party last year.
With the polling for the Lok Sabha elections concluded recently and the results to be announced on May 23, Kamal Haasan has still been continuing to voice out his opinion on various issues.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan has now stirred up a controversy during a campaign rally at Aravakurichi where he went on to state that Nathuram Godse, who killed Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, is “the first terrorist of independent India”.
The statement has evoked a huge debate among people from all walks of life with many taking a tough stand against Kamal Haasan’s views among whom actress Gayathri Raghuram took to her Twitter space to put out across her criticisms.
