A film Telugu cinema fans are waiting with bated breath is the highly-anticipated Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-starrer Bheemla Nayak, which is an official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Directed by Saagar K Chandra under the Sithara Entertainments banner, the Telugu version is set to open in theatres on February 25. With the film's release around the corner, the makers have finally released the long-awaited Bheemla Nayak trailer on Monday, which gives us a glimpse at the showdown between Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati.
In Bheemla Nayak, Pawan Kalyan is reprising Biju Menon's role, while Rana Daggubati is essaying the character played by Prithviraj from Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which was directed by the late Sachy. The upcoming Telugu film has already undergone several release changes after it was first announced to hit screens on January 12, coinciding with Sankranthi, before being postponed to February 25. The makers then revealed their plans to bring out Bheemla Nayak in theatres on either February 25 or April 1 after requests by producers D. V. V. Danayya, Vamsi, and Dil Raju as their films RRR and Radhe Shyam were also announced to release at the same time. Blockbuster Telugu director Trivikram Srinivas has written the screenplay for Bheemla Nayak, which is based on Sachy's Ayyappanum Koshiyum, and features music by chart-buster composer Thaman. S.
