A little birdie says that the makers of the B-town blockbuster Band Baaja Baraat are keen to remake the movie in South Indian languages. Sources state that the movie will be remade in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages and will star new faces.
Maneesh Sharma directed Band Baaja Baraat, while Aditya Chopra of YRF group produced the movie. The movie starred Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.
On confirming the news, a YRF spokesperson said,“ For now, we are seriously looking at making Band Baaja Baaraat in the South, but nothing yet has firmed up.”
Also, rumour is that the B-town blockbusters Bunty Aur Babli and Dil To Pagal Hai may get remade in South Indian languages.
