The highest-grossing film of in the world, Avengers: Endgame, the sequel to last year’s blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War, released on April 26 and now has collected over $2.7 billion in global box-office collections. The comicbook superhero action film jointly directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo is the 22nd venture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and has been produced by Marvel Studios with distribution by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. With the film’s collections crossing James Cameron’s Avatar only a few days back, a deleted scene is now out online and has the Avengers honoring Tony Stark aka. Iron Man, who gets killed after their full out battle against Thanos, the Mad Titan.
Avengers: Endgame was recently re-released with additional footage in theatres across the world, which too saw a sizable audience. The film saw Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin reprising their roles from Avengers: Infinity War. In addition, the characters of Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Letitia Wright and Evangeline Lilly were resurrected after getting killed off in Avengers: Infinity War.
