Vikram Prabhu was last seen in the action drama, Asuraguru which received mixed reviews from the critics and general audience. The film featured Mahima Nambiar as the female lead, while the rest of the cast included Yogi Babu, Subbaraju, Jagan, Nagineedu, Elango Kumaravel, Jaangri Madhumitha, Manobala, Anupama Kumar and others. The film had released on March 13, just a week before the complete lockdown and it got to run in the theatres only for 4-5 days. Produced by JSB Satish under the banner of JSB Film Studios, the film has cinematography by Ramalingam and editing by Lawrence Kishore. The songs were composed by Ganesh Raghavendra while the background score was done by Simon K King. Asuraguru was directed by debutant A Raajdheep who was a former associate to director Mohan Raja.

The young filmmaker is now all set to enter the next phase of his life on the personal front. Yes! Raajdheep recently got engaged to Deepika Ganeshan and the engagement event happened at Karur. The engagement happened at a private hotel on September 11 in the presence of the couple’s families and relatives, following the Covid 19 protocols advised by the Government. Director Raajdheep took to his Facebook page to share an emotional note, dedicated to his future wife.

He wrote, “நம்மள உயிருக்கு உயிரா லவ் பண்ற பொண்ண யாருக்கு ஆண்டவன் அமைச்சு கொடுக்குறனோ, உண்மையிலேயே அவன் தான்டா பாக்கியசாலி’’ இந்த வசனம் எனது திரைப்படத்துக்காக 2017 – ல் நான் எழுதியது. எனது வசனத்தை நானே உணரும் வண்ணம், எனக்கானவளை தந்துள்ளான் இறைவன். என் வாழ்வின் ஒவ்வொரு தருணத்திலும் என்னை ஆச்சர்யப்படுத்தும் என் இறைவன், இந்த முறையும்… என் வாழ்கைத்துணை விசயத்திலும்… எனக்கு பெரும் பரிசளித்து என்னை அக மகிழ வைத்துள்ளான். என்னவளுக்காக என் இறைவனுக்கு நன்றிகள் பல…”.

His post is loosely translated as, "In 2017, I had written a dialogue for my film which is, 'A man is truly blessed when God sends him the right girl who will love him the most'. I've realised my own dialogue becoming the reality. God, who surprises me at every important juncture of my life, has now once again surprised me by showing me the right girl to spend the rest of my life with." Wishes have been pouring in for director Raajdheep and Deepika Ganeshan on social media and we at Galatta Media also congratulate the couple on their engagement.
