Aryan Khan, the eldest son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has been making headlines lately as he is all set to make his debut in the film industry. First, it was his sister, Suhana Khan, who started following her father's footsteps and now it is Aryan's turn to follow suit.
But he is not going to face the camera, unlike most star sons who want to make their debut on the silver screen, he is instead happy to stay behind the scenes as a scriptwriter. Armed with a degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California, he is in talks with an OTT platform for a web series and is also working on a feature film, which will be backed by King Khan and Gauri Khan's production house- Red Chillies Entertainment.
Aryan and SRK had a tough time last year after the former was arrested by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) in an alleged drug bust case. However, that did not stop him from working towards developing multiple ideas for films and web series. If the rumours are true, word of mouth says. “Of all the ideas in development, the two in the forefront are a web series for Amazon Prime and a feature film to be bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment. The Amazon Prime series is said to be about the life of a die-hard fan with some elements of thrill, however, the details of feature films are not known yet. If everything proceeds at the right pace, there’s a strong possibility of the show being greenlit by the platform this year itself.”
In the lines of work, Aryan Khan recently attended the IPL auction along with his sister Suhana Khan. The siblings filled in for their father, co-owner of the team Kolkata Knight Riders, as he was unavailable for the auction. Other than that, Aryan's sister Suhana is all set to make her debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies on Netflix, while his dad Shah Rukh Khan is currently filming for his next project titled Pathan.
