Arya's Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam will open in cinemas worldwide on June 2, Zee Studios South made the announcement on Saturday evening. The upcoming rural entertainer will be the leading Tamil actor-producer's first big release of 2023 and has been directed by hit filmmaker Muthaiya under the joint collaboration of the Zee Studios and Drumsticks Productions banners. Arya, who was seen in a cameo appearance in Bobby Simha's Vasantha Mullai earlier this year, will be looking to come out firing on all cylinders with Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam, which had an action-packed teaser released back in March.
Set amidst a rural backdrop akin to his previous ventures, director Muthaiya will be looking to hit the bullseye once again with Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam after his Viruman with Karthi released last year turned out to be a massive box-office success. Arya, who hasn't been seen in too many village and town-based films, will want to cement a name for himself in the rural centres as well, and the visuals in the teaser show the film will be high on entertainment. Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam has Arya paired with Siddhi Idnani, who became a youth sensation after her performance in Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, and will feature music by National Award-winning composer G. V. Prakash Kumar. Below is the KEM release date announcement:
