Arya's Malayalam movie Double Barrel - Iratta Kuzhal, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, released on Onam. The film starring Prithviraj, Arya and Indrajith in the lead roles, has been garnering positive responses from across the theatres.

To the surprise of the actor who was in Kerala celebrating Onam with his movie's release, he was invited by the Superstar of Mollywood Mammooty for a specail festive lunch. The duo who had the traditional Kerala feast together, posed for a selfie, which was posted by Arya on his Twitter page, along with his Onam wishes: "Happy Onam... Onam saappade with legendary Mammooty Sir in Cochin.. Thank u so much for ur invite sir."
