Arvind Swami was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam as Varadan with a built up body and rugged look. While his kitty is filled with movies that are laying low as of now, his Pulanaivu is all set to gear up for its second schedule. Earlier it was reported that owing to the financial trouble the movie was kept under the wraps and a few stated that it was shelved. When we contacted the director of the movie, Santhosh P. Jayakumar to clear the air, he had disclosed that the aforementioned reports were just rumors and that there are no truth to them.
Furthermore, the second schedule of Pulanaivu will be commencing either on the 11th or 12th of August. However, this schedule will not be a long one as Arvind Swami should be flying back to US regarding his business, shortly after the filming is completed.
Arvind Swami is playing a smart and suave detective and director Ameer is playing a pivotal role in the movie. Pulanaivu, which is backed by Etcetera Entertainment, will have its music composed by D Imman.
Santhosh P. Jayakumar had earlier helmed movies like Hara Hara Mahadevaki, Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuthu and Gajinikanth.
