Director Santhosh P Jayakumar was announced to do an action thriller with Gautham Karthik titled, Theemai Dhaan Vellum, under the production of Studio Green. However, we had reported that this project will happen with a different actor and a production house due to creative differences between Santhosh and Studio Green. We have now got some super exciting details about the film's new cast.

We are informed by our close sources that the film will have the handsome hunk, Arvind Swami playing the lead role. Yes.! We are also told that this film will be bankrolled by Mathiyazhagan for his banner, Etcetra Entertainment. The said production house is currently producing Hansika's 50th film, Maha, Arun Vijay's Boxer, and an untitled film with Arvind Swami under the direction of Nirmal Kumar of Salim fame.

Santhosh P Jayakumar's directorial project would be Arvind Swami's second collaboration with Etcetra Entertainment. The film is likely to go on floors by this month and will be an intense thriller catered to all types of audiences, unlike the director's previous movies which were adult-centric.

The combination of Arvind Swami and Santhosh definitely sounds quite fresh. Theemai Dhaan Vellum happens to be the iconic dialogue which came out from Arvind Swami in Thani Oruvan.
