D Block is an upcoming Tamil action thriller film directed by debutant Vijay Kumar Rajendran and produced by cinematographer Aravinnd Singh under the banner MNM Films and presented by Sakthi Film Factory. The film stars Arulnithi and Avantika Mishra in the lead with a supporting cast that includes the likes of Karu Palaniappan, Charandeep, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ramesh Khanna, and Uma Riyaz Khan. The film's soundtrack is composed by Ron Ethan Yohann while its background score is composed by Kaushik Krish, with cinematography handled by Aravinnd Singh himself and editing done by Ganesh Siva. The film is all set to release in theatres on 1 July 2022.
Given that there are a couple of days left until the film hits the big screen, the makers of the film have been dropping songs and sneak peeks at a steady pace to keep their fans and audiences on their toes. As of now, one song titled 'Ice Katti Kuruvi' has been dropped and received a positive response. Two sneak peeks from the film have been dropped earlier as well. Now, the makers have dropped the third sneak peek and this time it is more of a light-hearted and humorous clip.
It features a couple of seniors ragging a junior (played by the director himself). They start by asking him how he does not even show any respect towards them as he walks across the group without saying good morning or acknowledging them in any way. Therefore, they ask him to sing a song which he does very enthusiastically. Noticing how things are not going their way, the seniors ask him to make the girl who is approaching them cry by just saying one word. He does this too with zero hesitation but it turns out that the girl is not just some other random girl to be messed with and therefore the seniors take off running.
