Tamil cinema fans will have quite a lot to look forward to in the months ahead and filmmaker-actor Sundar C's Aranmanai 4 is set to be a big treat this summer. The upcoming horror comedy film is the next instalment in the blockbuster Aranmanai franchise and will see Sundar C sharing screen space with national sensation Tamannaah and youth heartthrob Raashii Khanna, with Hiphop Tamizha composing the songs and the background score. Amidst much hype surrounding Aranmanai 4, it has now been announced that the film will be out in cinemas worldwide as a May 3 release.
Announced to initially open in cinemas for Pongal back in January, Aranmanai 4 was subsequently planned for an April 26 release, with the makers on Friday, April 19, making the last minute change. And so does something evil like the Baak 😈 #Aranmanai4 will arrive to haunt and entertain you all from May 3🔥#Aranmanai4FromMay3" (sic), the makers wrote sharing a new poster featuring Sundar C, Tamannaah, and Raashii Khanna amidst the backdrop of an old haunted mansion, with several birds resembling ravens seen taking flight.

The buzz for Aranmanai 4 shot up after the release of the film's trailer, which gave audiences a glimpse into what to expect on the big screen starting next month. Each film in the Aranmanai franchise has turned out to be a box office success and Tamil cinema and trade will be banking on Sundar C to hit the high note once again considering there have been no big releases since Pongal. Aranmanai 4 has also generated quite a lot of excitement as it marks the reunion of Sundar C and Hiphop Tamizha, and the response to the "Achacho" song picturized on Tamannaah and Raashii Khanna has been receiving a huge feedback.
