Leading South Indian actress Anushka Shetty's much-awaited Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty alongside Telugu star Naveen Polishetty will open in cinemas on September 7, producers Vamsi-Pramod's UV Creations banner has announced. The upcoming Telugu film directed by Mahesh Babu P is coming out in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages after originally scheduled for an August 4 release, but was eventually postponed. Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty will mark Anushka Shetty's comeback to the big screen after four years when she was last seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Nishabdham/Silence, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video during the lockdown in 2020.

There's quite a lot of buzz for Anushka's Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty, which is billed to be a romantic comedy and has Naveen Polishetty, who is known for starring in films like Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya and Jathi Ratnalu. Expectations for the film shot up after the film's teaser released sometime gave audiences a glimpse at Anushka as an expert chef, who hires Naveen, a stand-up comedian, in her restaurant. Expectations for Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty are high considering fans will be getting to witness Anushka once again on the big screen considering she was already a superstar in South India before becoming a nationwide sensation after the blockbuster success of the Baahubali films.
Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty's Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty has several big names in the film's technical department starting with cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, art director Rajeevan Nambiar, and visual effects supervisor Raghav Tammareddy, who gained praise for his work in the KGF films. The film features music composed by Radhan of Arjun Reddy fame, with the 'Yennadaa Nadakkudhu' song in the Tamil version sung by two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush already a chart-topping hit.
