We all know that Nefertari was one of the great royal wives of Greek god Ramesses the great. And now Nefertari in Chennai gets a new meaning! Dhayanidhi Alagiri's wife Anusha, a lawyer turned entrepreneur, launched her luxury event management company, Nefertari, in a glitzy affair on Sunday. It was not just the name but the ambience was also Egyptian. The event also saw a spectacular 3D mapping of the company logo outside the Le Royal Meridien. This is in fact the first time a 3D architectural mapping is done in India.
The main highlight of the show was a fashion show organised by Chennai-based designer Sidney Sladen unraveling his Spring Summer 2012 collection. Sidney's line of clothes was in sync with the party's theme i.e. Flight of the Phoenix. Nargis Fakhri, Taapsee, Pooja Hegde, Soniya Aggarwal, Arya and Jiiva walked the ramp; not to forget the ravishing performance by Kolaveri boy Anirudh.
A glitzy gala affair indeed!
