Celebrations have begun as Hindi television actress Ankita Lokhande officially got engaged to her boyfriend Vicky Jain in Mumbai. Photos and videos of the glittery engagement ceremony have taken sociaal media by storm, with Ankita seen in a twinkling black saree, which she complimented with matching earrings, while Vicky looked his dashing best in a beige-printed blazer and a black turtleneck T-shirt and pants. The couple exchanged their rings as the title track from late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's film Raabta was playing the background, with Ankita also performing singer Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do'. A fireworks display surprised all the attendees at the engagement ceremony after Vicky put the ring on Ankita's finger, with the couple then greeting audiences with a big smile.
At the engagement ceremony party, both Ankita and Vicky spoke about each other. Vicky, who held Ankita's hand, said, "I'm a very expressive guy. I show my love towards her in front of the whole world always, today, tomorrow and forever." Likewise, Ankita too shared heartfelt words saying, "I've told him each and everything about me. But I just want to say and tell everyone that I'm very very lucky to have Vicky in my life. I think because of Vicky my life is very easy. The way he is, I'm really grateful to God that he is my partner forever." The ceremony also saw the newly-engaged couple cut a four-tier cake in the presence of family members and close friends, who were seen grooving along.
Earlier on Sunday, a mehendi ceremony was held for Ankita and Vicky, with a bunch of pictures being shared by the actress, which she captioned, "The love we share makes my mehndi looks so beautiful… so meaningful… so memorable @jainvick."
