Mission Mangal, an upcoming movie of Akshay Kumar, will essay the story of scientists at ISRO who contributed to India's first interplanetary expedition, Mars Orbiter Mission. Based on the true event when our ISRO scientists took India to Mars on November 5th, 2013. Following the emotional statement, issued by Akshay Kumar on the movie, the first look was out to the public a few hours ago. The first look also had the release date, the 15th of August at the bottom, with a red planet, denoting the planet Mars and a rocket in the mid air. Bankrolled by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions and Fox Star Studios, Mission Mangal is directed by Jagan Shakti, AR Murugadoss' assistant.
The movie will have tunes composed by Amit Trivedi, lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and camera cranked by Ravi Varman, the movie is edited by Chandan Arora.
Akshay Kumar's last release, this year was Kesari and aside from Mission Mangal, he has Housefull 4, Good News, Laxmmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi in his kitty.
