For the last few weeks, we have been hearing about the release plans of several pan Indian movies. Having said that, the much-awaited Bollywood biggie, Sooryavanshi, is now all set for its theatrical release.

The Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi was initially scheduled to release on March 26, 2020, but the plans were scrapped due to the nationwide lockdown and ever since then, the fans have been waiting to hear about the new release plans. Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh's 83 were the two main films in Hindi cinema that were touted to bring the audience back to theatres and both the movies have got huge expectations. Among the two, Sooryavanshi is now all set for release. The makers made the big announcement this morning, through a special video that has now gone viral on social media.

Sooryavanshi will release in theatres across the globe on April 30 and it will have a wide release. The promotions for the film have been planned to begin on April 10. Sooryavanshi is directed by blockbuster director, Rohit Shetty and features Katrina Kaif as the female lead. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of a Police, DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, and the film promises to have a high dose of action. Akshay Kumar is said to have performed all the risky stunt sequences by himself and it is going to be exciting to witness those moments on the big screen. Actors Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be seen in cameo roles and they would reprise their iconic roles - DCP Bajirao Singham and Inspector Sangram Simmba Bhalerao.

Interestingly, Sooryavanshi, Simmba, and Singham belong to director Rohit Shetty's cop universe and the fans are highly excited to watch the combination scenes of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh. The film's trailer had created huge expectations during the time of its release and now that a void has been created, the makers will most probably release another teaser or trailer to spike up the momentum.
